Elevator Pitch No. 2 (Assignment 17A)

Link to pitch:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g_l7SqHnkdE

The feedback that stood out to me the most, and surprised me the most was that the person that commented on my first pitch told me that I needed to use more facts and numbers to convey my message. In my first pitch, I talked a lot about my business idea, and what I planned to provide to my customers. I should have spent more time talking about numbers and facts to support my business idea. By analyzing the market I believe it will help my pitch by conveying my idea more fully.

I changed the basis of my pitch based on the feedback that I received from my first pitch. This time around, I talked less about the business itself, and more about facts that showed why the business has the potential to succeed. I spoke more about the market, and its projected increase, as well as other facts that supported my business idea.

  1. David,
I think that this idea is something that is definitely on the rise in the US. I commented on your last post to include more facts and you did which is great, and your pitch was overall much more persuasive. I liked how you really laid out the huge opportunity in this industry and made it seem imperative that this business is created to the investors. Overall, great job and I think it will be successful.

  2. Hi David, I would agree in that more facts and graphics will help validate your idea. VC's like to hear numbers and see how your company would grow. The more potential you show, the better. Personally, I wrote on a dry erase board to show my numbers and graphics. Other than that, keep doing what your doing and your idea will take off!

  3. Hi David,
I also liked that you included more facts and details. Anyone can have a good idea, but I think that one of the main points of a pitch is to convince other people that it will work out when implemented and that you have thought the idea through and have plans for the success of your product or service.
